Through the years, Disney Princesses have inspired young children to reach for their dreams. They have been immortalized in wonderful Disney animation as well as in the thousands of Disney Princesses items being sold in the market today.Cinderella The typical “rags to riches” dream come true fantasy is the most obvious core center of Cinderella’s Disney animated story which was released in 1950. Even if she was being abused by her stepmother and her cruel stepsisters, she still showed them her humility and respect. Despite the fact that her dream of becoming the prince’s bride someday seems to be impossible, she didn’t loose hope. Instead, she kept on believing that her dreams will come true. Snow White “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” animation is the very first film installation in the Disney Princesses series. Released as the first full feature film of Walt Disney in 1937, it has garnered so many great reviews. Snow White’s story mainly revolves around the jealousy of her stepmother, the Evil Queen, on her fair and unsurpassed beauty. Snow White’s innocence and kindness has safeguarded her from the threats plotted by her stepmother. The only thing that she hoped for is to find her one true love that could sweep her off her feet. Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) Princess Aurora is the Disney character behind the fabled “Sleeping Beauty” animation film. Released in 1959, her story shows that the good always triumphs over evil and that true love can conquer all. She is the typical “damsel in distress” when the curse put upon her by the evil fairy, Maleficent, was fulfilled on her sixteenth birthday. But instead of dying when her finger got pricked on the spinning wheel, she began sleeping because the curse was altered by one of her fairy godmothers. Her one true love, Prince Phillip, uplifted the curse by giving her the “first true love’s kiss.” Belle One of the latest Disney Princesses, Belle is known as the young village girl in “Beauty and the Beast” feature film released in 1991. “Beauty is merely skin deep. What matters most is the goodness inside a man’s heart.” Belle has proven this saying by falling in love with the “Beast” in the castle who turned out to be a really good-looking prince |
